Growing up in the UK, travelling in pursuit of adventure mainly took me to mountainous areas of France and Switzerland. I’ve ridden a bike all over the UK, and have visited the European Alps in summer and winter to pursue a variety of activities. I’ve taken the approach of getting to know a country or geographical area in depth, rather than ticking off the number of countries I have visited.

Since moving to New Zealand in 2023, I no longer have the convenience of Europe on my doorstep, but I have Oceania and Asia not too far away.
